Una volta che hai potenziato Charizard Ex con Energia di Moltres ex grazie a Inferno Dance attacco, non c'è nessun Pokémon che possa resistere al suo attacco.

La strategia del mazzo è iniziare con Moltres ex in posizione attiva, utilizzando Inferno Dance per potenziare il Charmander in panchina e altri Moltres ex. Mentre è in posizione attiva, Moltres ex serve come un robusto tank con 140 HP. Lo scopo è accumulare quanto più possibile Energia possibile prima di ritirare Moltres ex e introdurre Charizard ex, permettendogli di usare Crimson Storm ripetutamente.

Se riesci a mantenere Moltres ex vivo per più turni, prova a caricare Charizard ex il più possibile in modo che possa usarlo Crimson Storm due volte di seguito una volta promosso all'attivo.

Charizard ex - Lista classica del mazzo

• Arcanine ex is faster to come out, making it ideal against quick matchups like Pikachu ex, against which Charizard ex is traditionally weak.
• Charizard ex is the all-stars of longer matches against Pokémon with over 120HP, such as Mewtwo ex and Venusaur ex.
• Moltres ex is the common denominator, serving as an Energy acceleration engine for all Pokémon

Although unorthodox, this alliance of the two strongest Fire-type Pokémon ex, covering for each other's shortcomings and powered up by the same engine, is already making waves.

Charizard ex - Volcarona variant

Hitting the Bench is a formidable strategy to threaten both previously Active, now damaged Pokémon, and lower stages Pokémon before they have a chance to evolve, particularly those whose last stage have a game-changing ability (think Greninja or Serperior).

Few Pokémon can do it in the game, and the most powerful one is Volcarona and its Volcanic Ash attack, dealing 80 damage to any of the opponent’s Pokémon at the cost of 2 Energy. Among the relevant target in the metagame, it can knock out all Basic Pokémon that can evolve, Servine, Kirlia, Frogadier, Primeape…

This is another angle of attack for the Charizard deck that requires only 1 stage of Evolution, that can be powered up with Moltres ex equally and only trades for 1 Point. It’s generally used to net the Point you miss, before or after knocking a Pokémon ex with Charizard ex.

L'apertura ideale per i deck Charizard ex è Moltres ex nel punto Attivo: per questo motivo, non possono permettersi di avere troppi Pokémon Base. Questa bassa contezza di Pokémon li lascia molto vulnerabili a Sabrina che porta in primo piano il Charmander che hanno caricato con Inferno Dance, vulnerabile a qualsiasi grande colpo. Debolezze

• Il deck ha un solo piano: attivare Moltres ex al turno 1 e usare Inferno Dance fino a quando Charizard ex è completamente caricato. Si affida a un attacco a testa a testa per ottenere questo.
• Essendo un deck di livello 2 senza bit ricercabili, è debole contro i deck veloci e ha difficoltà contro deck come Pikachu ex quando vanno secondi.
• Charizard ex richiede tempo per caricarsi, ancora di più se consideriamo che è più sicuro avere un conteggio di Energia di 5 per poter usare twice in a row Crimson Storm.
